By now, you’ve heard President Obama won the 2009 Nobel Peace prize. And you know, I heart Obama, but shouldn’t the Nobel Peace prize go to some wizened, bent-over-with-osteoporosis gnome who volunteered fervent commitment and effort to peace for like, I don’t know, 30 years? As I said, Obama rules, he is working, but he hasn’t really done anything. I was chatting with friends tonight and one commented that he’s becoming that guy who wins at everything. He’ll probably win Best Actor at the Oscars this year, and it’ll be totally unexpected and humbling for him, but inspiring for him to be the best person he can be.
Still, I much prefer a Teflon figure from the Dems than the Repubs. Yay!
Lay off him. He didn’t apply for it. He is donating the prize money and he said he doesn’t deserve it. What is your problem, people?
