Sometimes, context really makes the music. I listen to Lady Gaga on my Ipod to go running, but when I happened to find myself at a gay night club last Saturday night, “Paparazzi” came on booming on the sound system, and I was more wowed than usual. Her music is just made for gay nightclubs — the voice, the catchy hook, the insistent beat. The setting made me see her music in a completely different light.
